“How to prevent diabetes, obtaining and working with him”

Thanks to modern medicine, many people are living longer and longer, but many Americans develop Diabetes at an alarming pace. There are many factors for the development of Diabetes including heredity, obesity, sedentary lifestyle and increase the consumption of fast food. Diabetes were once ordinary people in their 60s and 70s but quickly has been common in younger teens and 1920s.Diabetes Mellitus (DM), is a very common disease caused by insufficient production of Insulin in the pancreas. There are two types of diabetes: type 1 Juvenile Diabetes, also known as Insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM) and type 2, also known as non-Insulin Diabetes Mellitus NIDDM. Type 1 is caused by pancreas total failure to make appropriate levels of insulin to lower blood penetra, which can vary from 200 to close at 1,000. Type 1 diagnosed in children and adolescent population, and is a life-threatening event. Cause of type 1 is unknown and is the subject of much research. Without insulin supplementation, these patients die of Diabetes Ketoacidosis or diabetic coma. Type 1 is fortunately much less common than type 2 Diabetes 2. Type is much more common, affecting millions of Americans each year. The pancreas is not working, it produces less insulin than the body to keep blood normal penetra requirements. Poor diet, lack of exercise and obesity tax the pancreas, keeping with the normal insulin production. Blood is constantly increasing and penetra lower, thanks to the complexity of the pancreas and insulin. Normal insulin levels of 60 to 120 fasting patients in non-diabetics. Blood penetra may rise after eating meals to more than 140 levels and lowered through the production of insulin in normal patients. Many of us have normal fasting blood penetra, less than 126 mg/dl, but still considered pre-diabetic, because we do not produce enough insulin to our bodily requirements. Screening for Diabetes involves measurement of random, non-fasting blood sugar. If blood sugar is higher than 126 mg/dl on two occasions, carried out the diagnosis of Diabetes. Other patients diagnosed with glucose tolerance test. But a relatively new test, Hemoglobin A1C HgbA1C, is now the gold standard for diagnosis of Diabetes. HgbA1C 6.0 or higher is diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus. You can ask the provider of health care that this test the next time you are for bloodwork. Many type 2 diabetics can be controlled by diet alone. To reduce the total number of Henry considered reducing insulin. Penetra is not the only foods that increase insulin. Carbohydrates, such as bread, potatoes, pasta and rice and bad fats increase levels of insulin. Many diabetics eat out at MOM and Pop Diners or eat solid food. These foods are full of fat and carbohydrates. Diabetic-friendly meal consists of a serving of lean protein, a notification carbohydrate and two or more servings of vegetables. Exercise also plays an important role in keeping insulin levels low. exercise helps the body to move from the blood stream in insulin muscle where it can be used as energy. When diet and exercise alone is not sufficient to control sugar levels, there are many of mouth medicine prescribed by the provider of health care. Diet and exercise are still important. You can not do all medications. But medicine can get blood penetra in check box. If Diabetes is not managed with diet, exercise longer and by mouth medicine, Insulin and other drugs administered under the skin is added to keep the blood normal penetra. Many type 2 diabetics may stop Insulin because the supply of insulin producing cells in the pancreas reduces after years of use. The key is to preserve the pancreas as long as possible with diet, exercise, weight control and perhaps medicine. But what is big on high blood penetra? Many of my diabetic patients say they feel just fine, even if their penetra is high. I use this analogy when teaching my patients about blood penetra. If blood sugar is too high, it becomes too thick, maple syrup is thicker than water alone. This thicker consistency Stephen blood makes it increasingly difficult to flow through large and small blood vessels which feed organs in the body. Long term high blood penetra can affect the eyes, causing blindness. Many patients in dialysis treatment because their kidneys were damaged from increased blood penetra. Sugar-enriched blood flows more slowly to the brain and heart, leading to an increase in heart attacks and strokes. Blood, which is thick sugar not properly can flow to the legs, feet and hands and many poorly controlled diabetics must have amputations to treat local major infection (gangrene) and prevent the risk of a body of global infections (sepsis). But Diabetes does not run in my family! Should I be worried? Yes, you are doing. Because blood penetra increased gradually over time, you cannot select the bad. Some symptoms which may lead to suspicion of Diabetes are tiredness, often eat, often liquid food and frequent urination. Some patients may have extremely high blood penetra, greater than 300 mg/dl, and have fruity smelling breath and acetone or are at risk for Diabetic Ketoacidosis, diabetic Coma. So what can you do to reduce your chances of becoming a diabetic? Well, you cannot change your genetics. But even patients with Diabetes family history can prevent the disease. All patients can significantly reduce the risk of developing Diabetes improve their diet. Include lean meat, beef and pigmeat, the smaller, more fish and chicken, less bad fats as lard or fatback and more good fats like nuts and olive oil in your diet.
